We are glad to announce two events at SFN 2017 to be held in Washington, DC.
First, Xiaosi and Read, with the help of Cassie Carrin, organized a pre-SFN workshop called "Computational Psychiatry: A Didactic Introduction" (Nov 10-11, 2017).
Second, Xiaosi will give a short talk at this mini-symposium - "Computational Psychiatry: Multiscale Models of Mental Illnesses" on Sunday, Nov 12th, 2017 @ 8:30 - 11 am.
The purpose of both events is to further our effort in raising the awareness and interest in this new field, encourage researchers to join this exciting area of research, and equip researchers with basic knowledge and tools used in computational psychiatry work.
Hope to see you in DC!
